Friday December 11th 2009 6pm -10pm:
We kindly invite you for the the opening of the exhibition:

It Has Happened - I H H

Exposition sur le thème de la photographie, organisée par Philip Tonda
12 décembre-3 janvier 2010

Artistes:
Lutz Baumann / Aline Biasutto / Daniel Holfeld / María-Alejandra Huicho / Sibyll Kalff / Scotty Lawrence et Andrew Scott Ross / Evi Lemberger / Anke Loh / Eduardo Goulart de Macedo - EVOLVEE IMAGING / ´Chia´ Nurhamsiah / Vincenzo Pandolfi / Simona Da Pozzo / Valérie Prot / Anahita Razmi / Andrew Schroeder / Jordan Tate / Anjana K.V. / Keren Zaltz

It Has Happened - I H H

An exhibition on photography, curated by Philip Tonda
Dec 12 - Jan 03 / 2010

Artists:
Lutz Baumann / Aline Biasutto / Daniel Holfeld / María-Alejandra Huicho / Sibyll Kalff / Scotty Lawrence and Andrew Scott Ross / Evi Lemberger / Anke Loh / Eduardo Goulart de Macedo - EVOLVEE IMAGING / ´Chia´ Nurhamsiah / Vincenzo Pandolfi / Simona Da Pozzo / Valérie Prot / Anahita Razmi / Andrew Schroeder / Jordan Tate / Anjana K.V. / Keren Zaltz

I H H is a show that embraces photography, and looks into its quality of being readable as a documentation of reality.

Even though this notion has been challenged by artists and discussed endlessly, photography is still to a large extent connected to the idea of capturing the real.
Weather or not by the artists' intentions, the viewer will most often immediately connect a photo directly to reality as he or she perceives it, and look for some kind of narrative, even if only within his or her own mind.

The exhibition I H H plays with this notion, and shows photos that exist on the borderline of being completely autonomous, but also being actual references to situations in the past.

TPTP invites you to come and experience the 18 different worlds of 18 different photo works made by 19 different artists from various parts of the planet.

Each photo is accompanied by a contextualizing text by the artist, which is to be found on separate leaflets.

TPTP : 20 rue Muller | 0952591339 | PARIS, FR [link]

dA people,

I desire to re-structure my entire life.
I barely know who or what I am(about)[anymore].

I have made some fantastic connections in here, and can honestly say a few of my very few friends in life are from here, met through the browsing of wonderful Art/Designs within the community.

The Rain Forest is calling forth for my presence, and my heart aligns with it.

I´ll be on FACEBOOK every now & then - [link] - got in there via my dearest Elinor, AKA :iconequivoque:,and been enjoying finding some people who were once an active, important part of my life, like Kat Pruitt, a wonderful lady with whom I´ve spent magic moments while living in Red River/Taos area, in New Mexico, USA.

As mushy as it might sound, it´s never enough to thank my wonderful friends for being there for me in recent months, :iconausversehnsucht:,a sweet young man, a rare breed these days,:iconsophonisba: & :icons7409651:, for long, meaningful talks & the share of so much wonderful artworks & collabs of ideas and concepts,:iconftography:, also an amazing guy I met through here, another rare type, intelligent & allert human being, :iconnutmeg-42: ,such a darling one, all the way from Australia, :iconsilentdrawer: & :iconbeyondweird: ,two unique girls from the old continent I wish one day I´ll have the pleasure of meeting in person, they represent the "new world youth" coming forth, and finally, :icontupiniquim: ,the one person from this list I knew/know in person, one of the brightest human beings I´ve ever met, but that unfortunately has chosen paths that do not include my presence anymore, but has left me with the gifts once shared.

I´m really going through a total re-organization of ideas, mediums/techniques in relations to my new works, and will be fully back on dA as I launch my web-site project, and decide on what paths to create/take, concerning my life as a whole.

The lush vegetations of the Atlantic Forest await, and I shall fly.. de encontro ao que de fato toca meu coração; pois é preciso.

Today,

my apartment -a third floor small penthouse in an electric-fenced building!) was robbed, ALL the jewelry, laptops, a camera...were all taken...closets were a mess...but above all, they took personal documents/letters & photos they didn´t know were inside one of the laptop cases...leaving me with no traces of extreme valuable personal data/material.

The police?
HOURS later, the only thing they were able to actually do was notifying that "a robbery had occured" in their system.
Nothing more, nothing less.

Door lock was broken and forced into, and to think someone, *they* that is, other "fellow" human beings, could physically rape my intimacy and my family´s, destroying our sense of confort and joy in this new apartment we moved into (been a couple of months only), by taking not only valuables, but things we cherished and that, for any others, is/will be worth nothing, it makes me wonder about the very structure of life in here, our society.

The documents & objects they took accidentally were inside a locked laptop case, and they probably thought they were taking a third pc in it (as I said, they took my laptop, and my bother´s), and so my 11+ years of journals/personal letters, objetcs... are probably now turned into garbage, somewhere in this 5+ million people city.

I feel numb-ish really, to tell you the truth, right now.
I´m already on anti-depressants & other meds after resisting taking them for more than 3 years, having so far the hardest of times in my life -ever really-, and now this.

I am seriously wondering, deeply, about values & scenarios in our daily lives, as an individual, and as a collective.

I have no friends to reach out to here in my city, barely in Brazil as a matter of fact. I come here telling this just so I can let it out, release the tension of a day that showed a face of human behaviour that sincerely?

.....makes me wonder what humans are made of, seriously.
